As most events are currently cancelled or postponed, we are working with our fabric and table linens manufacturers to instead produce face masks and protective covers. By working directly with our supplier, we’re also keeping prices down so we can offer protective equipment at cost. We know it’s a difficult time for everyone and we hope in a small way this helps to keep our community safe.

On a personal note, our customers’ support during this time from kind words to orders has been so amazing and heartfelt. We are so thankful! We hope to get back to creative DIYs and helping you plan the perfect party soon! For now, we’re celebrating by staying home!

While the disposable masks we offer are not for medical use, their 3 ply design has been ideal for everyday protection. Our staff has been using these masks daily (as they are disposable) while processing orders as we follow best practices from the CDC.

Why is it important to wear a mask in the first place?

When worn properly, masks (or any face covers) can protect the wearer from coming in contact with droplets or transmission to others. Similarly, face covers can shield you from small droplets, dust, sneezing, or splashes.

But if you need to visit the grocery store or work, face protection can help us avoid infection as there have been cases of patients not displaying symptoms until much later. Keep in mind, wearing a mask is not a substitute for social distancing - it’s important to keep staying home as directed and hand washing to minimize spread of COVID-19.

Our single use masks are made with 3 layers of breathable, paper-like (non woven) synthetic fabric that is cut into a rectangular shape and has pleats to help it expand and fit more snugly around your face.

They are disposable and designed to be used just once. Our face shields are created from clear PET material and hypoallergenic foam that can absorb sweat, with an elastic band that makes it comfortable and easy to wear.

Before you put on a mask or face shield, be sure that your hands are clean - hand washing with soap and water is essential. Mask should cover mouth and nose, without a large gap between your face and the mask.

Be sure that the loops hold the mask securely in place and if it gets damp, change it immediately. Face shields should fit over your face without obstructing the view. Avoid touching your face or protective covers once you are wearing them, and be sure to wash your hands once you take off the covers.
