Top 5 Party Trends We’re Looking Forward To In 2023

Making your party, wedding, or celebration unique to you is our goal, so we’re happy to share the top 5 party trends our Balsa Circle team is looking forward to in 2023! Don’t see your favorite decor idea on the list? Share it in the comments and let us know what you’ll be celebrating in the new year!
Themed Parties
From TikTok themed birthday parties to kids’ unicorn and mermaid celebrations, themed parties are going strong in 2023. Why? Choosing a theme and sticking to it makes decorating decisions easy! For example, you’ll need music note balloons for a TikTok party and regular latex balloons in bright pink, turquoise, black, white, and silver for a balloon arch. Add a Big Payette rectangular tablecloth or any textured table skirt for a fun look. Don’t forget the matching favor boxes, and you’ve got your decorations ready to go! This party theme can work for adults and kids, that’s what makes it so versatile!
Mocktails
Adding to the themed party trend, a mocktail that matches the theme is a must have! What’s a mocktail? It’s a cocktail, minus the alcohol. One idea is to substitute alcohol with bubbly club soda - here’s a list to get you started! Serve your cocktails in cute party flutes or glittered serving goblets for that extra touch of whimsy!
Vibrant Colors
We’ll see a few less balloon arches in 2023 and more balloon accents. Party goes are looking to capture the moment by taking some photos and videos so of course vibrant backdrops, custom wall art, and colorful flowers are a must have. Mix and match for that maximalist look, don’t be afraid to go for what you really like!
Hanging Displays
Take your centerpieces or table decorations to another level, literally, by creating floating displays! Use over the table arches, or even 3M hooks with fishing wire, to create eye-catching displays! Simply accent the stands with botanical elements, greenery, garlands or fairy lights to set a magical atmosphere for your family and friends. Make your celebration memorable and don't forget to capture great photos!

Mini Servings
As we get back to celebrating with family and friends, it’s still best to keep safety in mind when planning your food. Think individual servings instead that you can serve to the table, or bring to your guests as they mingle. Use fun favor boxes that are on theme to gift your guests something to take home, like these travel themed 24 Light Brown Favor Boxes Travel Suitcase Design with Tags.
