Transforming your backyard into a beautiful wedding venue is no small task! But it is doable, and affordable, to have the perfect celebration with a few DIY touches. The great thing about backyard weddings is the intimate atmosphere - tying the knot surrounded by your family and closest friends feels so much more personal. And this wedding did just that so we are so excited to share it with you!
The couple chose rustic touches like burlap and lace, and added a modern take with geometric candle holders. Pairing natural textures with ivory table linens and greenery made this backyard celebration truly enchanting! Did we mention their super unique favors? That’s right, the hilarious screaming chicken toys serenaded the couple after the ceremony! With a fun icebreaker game to let guests get to know each other (great idea for out of town family and friends!) and plenty of BBQ and drinks, this is one of the most fun receptions we've ever seen.
