Elevate the look of your party with a fun balloon table runner! This DIY idea is perfect for bridal showers, baby showers, birthday parties, and so much more! With tropical paper leaves and paper flowers, you can really wow your guests and throw the perfect summer celebration!
Beginning with inflating the balloons, use a hand pump or an electric pump, you’ll need to make sure the balloons are no bigger than 4 to 6 inches in diameter. You don’t want them to be full size as that’ll make attaching them together harder, and your guests will not be able to see each other comfortably over the runner. Once you’ve inflated a few balloons, take two and tie them together.
For the next step, take two sets of the tied balloons and cross them over each other, securing with a balloon tie ribbon.
To create the runner, take a section of corner bead. You may want to cut it down to the size but you can find metal corner bead sections at your local hardware store in the construction or drywall section. Once you have it cut lengthwise to fit your table, start to add the balloon sets and once again, securing with the balloon ribbon.
Add some tropical leaves that you can cut from craft paper on a Circuit following this template. In addition to the paper leaves, add a mix of blush or cream peony small paper flowers for a gorgeous floral look. Voila, you are done and ready to celebrate!
The gold and pink color palette takes this charming balloon runner above and beyond so you can use this DIY for next party celebration. Be sure to share your balloon party ideas with us in the comments or tag us @BalsaCircle or #BalsaCircle on Instagram with tips or questions!
