Graduation Party Decorations

Graduation Party Decorations

It's that time of year to celebrate our hard-working graduates and send them off with success! We wanted to share these fun and budget-friendly DIYs so you can decorate your grad's party in style. From all of us at Balsa Circle, we congratulate you and your loved ones on your amazing achievement and wish you best of luck in reaching your goals in the future. Way to go grads!

You'll need a few basic supplies for this DIY like hot glue, scissors, rulers, zip ties, and balloon raffia ribbon. We used glittered foam sheets to cover a box we had left over from the holidays and then added a couple of inches to create the top. For the finishing touch, we added a tassel from the craft store. Now you have a graduation cap prop that you can use for well wishes and cards from family and friends!

For even more eye-catching decorations, we used letter balloons to spell out G R A D but you can also use number balloons if you'd like to display the graduation year - or both! Also, just a quick note: We recommend not using helium with 16" balloons and instead using an air pump. Keep in mind that 16” balloons will not fly even with helium, only 40” balloons will so if you plan on using 16" balloons with helium, it's better to inflate them slowly so the balloon does not break. Then you can just place them with your round balloons stacks and you're ready to celebrate!

These decorations are sure to make your event even more glam and fun! Let us know how you'll be celebrating, or which DIYs you'd like to see next, in the comments!
