I recently had a Sweet Sixteen and used the balloon arch strip as a decoration. The strip is built to create a decorative arch filled with balloons. The strip comes rolled and spreads out to be 16 feet long. The width of the strip is no longer than ¼ inch. The strip comes with openings in the shape of a circle where you would insert the balloon. These holes were ¼ inch apart as well. Be prepared to use about 150-200 balloons if you plan on using the whole strip. Although we struggled with this product, it did what it needed to do and became a beautiful decorative background at my party. It should be noted that the strip comes with no directions either on the back of the box or the inside. Before the party, prepared myself by watching videos on similar products and understood that the ends of the balloons must go into the holes on alternating the sides of the strip. As I mentioned before, it comes rolled up into a spiral and because of this, it has no structure or balance. As you put the balloons into the holes provided, the strip will begin to straighten itself out. But because the holes are so close together, the weight of the balloons adds up on another, causing the balloons to pop. We soon improvised and began to add balloons in every other hole. Again the balloons began to pop, and we started adding balloons in every 3 or 4 holes. This began a process of trial and error, which caused the strip to take approximately two hours to complete just half or 8 feet of the strip. These 8 feet of balloons did not stand up on their own, just as we figured. Instead, I had previously bought fishing line and command hooks to help hang and support the arch onto the wall. Even with these items, it was still very tricky to hang. I would recommend this product to anyone on a budget and is willing to put in the work. Most of you will use this as a one-time thing for a special party or occasion. If you are not willing to lay out a game plan on how to tackle the usage of this item, this product is not for you.
