It has been a challenging year! But despite what's going on all over the world, there are still a lot of things that we should be grateful for. We may not celebrate Thanksgiving the usual way amid the pandemic but that will not change the fact that this is the season of gratitude, giving and of course, lots of turkey! You may not have a lot of visitors for this year’s party due to social distancing, but together with your immediate family members or even over video chat, there will be ways to make your Thanksgiving feel festive and truly special!

How to Make It Special?

CREATE A COZY ATMOSPHERE

Start by building a warm and comfortable atmosphere in your home. Cover your dinner tables with textured fabrics and then add a soothing and relaxing ambiance by placing elegant candles on your tabletops.

Faux burlap tablecloths will bring charm to your celebration. You can also mix and match it with other table linens such as your table runner, overlays and napkins for a stylish setup.

ADD LUXE TO YOUR TABLE SETTING

You might want to set your tables with something exciting for everyone to enjoy with your sumptuous dinner. Get creative by adding elegant charger plates to your table setting. DECORATE WITH SEASONAL COLORS

Although you may not have many guests over, you may still want to decorate your home for the holiday season. It will not only lift everyone’s spirit but it will also help you in setting the mood you want for a special occasion. So start decorating days before getting the turkey. Make cool centerpieces or pumpkin decorations. And as we always say, you can never go wrong with fall colors. Prepare your menu with turkey, gravy and apple pie. Get the beverages ready and if you have kids make sure that you have kid-friendly food to serve and of course, non-alcoholic drinks. And since we are more or less just celebrating with the immediate family member, it is a good idea to make everyone involved in the preparation for more fun and bonding.

Thanksgiving is about more than the sweet pies and savory turkeys. It is about gratitude. The highlight of the celebration is when the family gather together around the dinner table and express how thankful they are all for all the blessings.
