Set Up the Perfect (and Budget-Friendly!) Coffee Bar

Set Up the Perfect (and Budget-Friendly!) Coffee Bar

Hosting for the holidays or stuck for wedding reception ideas? You’ll love this easy to put together coffee dessert bar idea. It’s perfect for cookie parties at work or at home, so put on your best ugly Christmas sweater and let’s get started!

Starting with a simple table, we dressed it up with an ivory tablecloth and kraft paper on top. Feel free to customize the colors for your event! We went with a red and ivory/white color scheme with natural wooden accents. For the backdrop, we used artificial floral wall panels that you can reuse at a later event as a photo backdrop!

Now it’s on to the details! From the red napkins to milk bottles, you’ll want to place your treats on the table in a way that’s easy for guests to enjoy. Think of it like a cafeteria lunch line and set the drinks on one end and the cookies on the other end. That way, as guests come up, they can enjoy your whole spread! If you’re having friends bring cookies or treats to the party, make sure to leave some room on the table. To add height to the display, use clear jars. They are also perfect for having smaller chocolates at the table or for extra silverware.

As an option, you can also have ready to go boxes for guests to take left over cookies home. If you need bigger favor boxes, the ivory purse boxes are perfect! They’ll fit anything from a large brownies, a piece of cake or cupcake, or a variety of cookies. For candy, try favor bags - you can display a few on your bar as well.
