We’ve all seen bridal and party emergency kits with safety pins and quick fix accessories, but what about those must-have tools that party planners have in their kit? Here is our list of those must-haves that will help you out in decorating and setting up your dream party looks!
Balloon Tie Tool
This handy item is a must have when working with balloons! It will save your hands for sure when it comes to tying off balloons. Easy to use and doesn’t take up a lot of room, what’s not to love? See our tutorial on how to easily use the balloon tie tool for your party decor. If you’re looking to save time with balloon set-ups, make sure you also have an electric balloon pump - talk about a time saver!
Floral Wire or Tape
This one was a tie because you really need both in your kit if you’re working with silk flowers or making DIY centerpieces. With floral wire, you can use it to secure flowers, stems, and more! Floral tape will help you hide the wire and edges, so your set up looks professional and all the flowers are secure.
Hot Glue Gun
Of course, this one is a must-have! Use your glue gun on the low setting to connect balloons for a stunning balloon mosaic or fix any last minute decorations that have come undone. You can also use glue dots for any smaller fixes, or if you don’t have access to an electric outlet.
Scissors/Wire Cutters/Pliers
We are always reaching for our scissors when working on a DIY projects! it’s also necessary to have wire cutters on hand, especially if working with silk flowers as they will help you cut the stems much faster.
DIY Tool Box
This one seems so simple but often left to the last minute, and that’s a storage solution! Having a portable ready-to-go box with all your craft supplies is so essential to have. We love using portable carts too! Try an art tool box or even a make-up box, anything with compartments for smaller DIY tools will work best.
